Had a really really nice time. This place was functional in general with a fairly friendly staff team. The breakfast was great and offered a lot of options. I have stayed in queen room with good fridge and TV, for example for 1 night.

The heat didn't work in our room so we had to put clothes on not to be cold. This was a really unpleasant stay.

Good for touring before or after Grand Canyon day visit, and great for Route 66 partial tour.
A simple motel - do not consider using pool or facilities - only the room for sleeping. However breakfast is better than average for this sort of motel.

We stayed here while doing a little bit of Route 66, so the Route 66 themed hallway was an added bonus. The motel is close to the centre of town for some good eating, the breakfast buffet was good (hot as well as cold food) and the staff friendly. Even the close proximity of the railway only added to the atmosphere, and didn't really disturb our night's sleep. We didn't sample the pool or jacuzzi, but the fitness room was a little basic and not very well cooled.

Kingman is a good starting point for cruising around Route 66 as well as to see Grand Canyon. Las Vegas is also within its reach, providing the price overall it's a good place to recommend for a short break along the way.
Hard to tell, I was there only for one night :)

Recommend it for families passing through
I gotta say, the breakfast was surprisingly decent. Like, real eggs and not just some powdered stuff. The staff really went out of their way to help us when we had questions about the area.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was still acceptable for what we got.

My friend and I were camping when the snow started and it got to be too cold in our campervan, so we booked a cheap room at the Quality Inn. We liked it a lot. The service was great, staff was helpful and nice. Our room was clean, internet was good. Breakfast was great, with eggs, hash browns, sausages, cereal, toast, english muffins, yogurt and coffee (pretty bad coffee, but that's always the case at motels). There was a sparse gym we used in the morning of our checkout, it's adequate. The pool looked nice - too cold outside for us to use it, but if the weather had been better we would've. All in all, we got a 35 dollar rate and couldn't believe our luck at how good the motel was for that price. Much better than most cheap hotels/motels we've stayed at. Not dodgy or dingy or gross or unclean in any way.
There were two minor things wrong with our room - there was a soft zooming noise coming through the wall (from the pool, we think) which was continuous and our showerhead didn't twist back from the 'thinnest jets' setting so we couldn't get it back to a normal flow of water. But those were just minor things, not bad enough to bug us, and we had a nice stay.
